A Returning Client Experience

We hired the same electrician we used two years ago for a new geyser installation. The work was solid, but the real difference showed up later when a small fault appeared. One phone call and he came back the same week, no arguments about who was responsible. That follow-up is why we keep his number saved.

What made this review worth writing is not the installation itself, which went as expected. It is the way the electrician handled the callback. When the pressure valve started dripping a few weeks later, he did not try to charge us for a separate call-out or claim it was a different fault. He checked his original notes, confirmed the part was covered under his workmanship guarantee, and replaced it without fuss.

That kind of behaviour is rare enough that it deserves a mention. In my experience, many tradespeople treat a warranty as something to talk around rather than honour. This one simply did what he said he would do, which is exactly the standard I look for before recommending someone to neighbours or family.

The only reason this is not a full five-star rating is the initial quote process. The first estimate was vague about the brand of geyser he planned to install, and I had to ask twice before he confirmed the model. Once that was sorted, everything else ran smoothly. If you are planning a similar job, my advice is to ask for the specific model in writing before you agree to anything.
